To buy a car from CSD canteen, some term and condition have to be fulfilled only after that serving soldier or retired defense person can buy four wheeler through CSD. Term and condition for other rank
- Defense Person from Sepoy to Havildar rank can buy a car from CSD canteen only after 5 years of service.
- Only one car during full service and 1 car after retirement can be bought from CSD canteen. Means other rank defense person can buy two cars from CSD canteen.
- There should be a gap of at least 8 years between the car purchased during service and the car purchased after retirement.
- Other rank defense person can buy a car up to Rs.8 lakh from CSD canteen. This price does not include GST.
Term and Condition for JCO Rank
- Defense Person of JCO rank can take the first car after 5 years of service, from the rank of Sepoy to the rank of Havildar.
- After getting promoted from Havildar rank to JCO rank, one can buy another car. JCOs can buy a third car after retirement.
- All the three cars purchased by CSD canteen should have a gap of at least 8 years.
- Defense Persons of the rank of JCOs can buy a car up to Rs.10 lakh from CSD Canteen.
Term and Condition for Officer Rank
- Officer rank defense person can buy car from CSD canteen every 8 years.
- Officer rank defense person can buy a car up to Rs 20 lakh from CSD canteen. This price does not include GST.
