If you want to start a petrol pump in your district or any other place, let us tell you that the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has set the reserve quota of petrol pump in regular and rural location for Defense Person, Paramilitary Person, Central Government and State Government Employee. Eligibility for Petrol Pump under ESM Quota

Any ESM can apply under this category which are given below.

  1. Dependent and Widow of those ESMs who have died in war time or their death is attributable to military service.
  2. War Disabled Armed Forces Person or those ESM who have Disability, Attributable to Military Service in peace time.
  3. ESM who are healthy and SHAPE 1.

If the ESM falls in the first two categories 1 and 2 above, then he has to obtain an eligibility certificate from the DGR. If he wants to apply for petrol pump under the category of serial number three, then he does not need to take any certificate from DGR. He can apply for petrol pump directly through the application along with copy of discharge order or PPO order.

Whenever an oil company plans for a petrol pump in a location, it puts out advertisements in the local Hindi and English newspapers in which all the details related to the petrol pump are given. Based on that advertisement, ESM can apply for Petrol Pump as per their category and also apply for eligibility certificate in DGR.

How to get Eligibility Certificate from DGR (For Disabled ESM)

To apply for the certificate, one has to submit the documents given below through the ESM Kozilla Sainik Board.

  1. Copy of PPO order.
  2. Copy of discharge book or retirement order.
  3. Copy of ESM Identity Card.
  4. Notarised affidavit whose format will be available in ZSB.
  5. Passport size photograph.
  6. Cutting of Newspaper advertising the application of Petrol Pump under ESM quota.
  7. Disability certificate which mentions that the disability is attributable to military service.
  8. Copy of According Education Certificate of Petrol Pump Application.
  9. Proof if Gallantry Award winner.

These documents are required by the disabled ESM to apply for the certificate from DGR. All these documents need to be attested by ZSB and thereafter apply to DGR.

How to get Eligibility Certificate from DGR (Widow & Dependents)

To apply for the certificate, one has to submit the below-mentioned documents through District Sainik Board.

  1. The Defense Person's copy of the Death Certificate in which it was mentioned that the death of the person was attributable to the Military Service.
  2. Photocopy of the initial PPO of the window.
  3. Gallantry Award Winner Proof if available.
  4. Copy of Widow / Dependent Card
  5. Photocopy of the certificate of date of birth of the widow or dependent.
  6. Copy of According Education Certificate of Petrol Pump Application.
  7. Notarised affidavit whose format will be available in ZSB.
  8. Applicant passport size photo
  9. Cutting of Newspaper advertising the application of Petrol Pump under ESM quota.
  10. As per Notarised Relinquishment deed format.

Dependent or widow with all these documents can apply for eligibility certificate in DGR through Zila Sainik Board. On the basis of eligibility certificate, one can apply for Petrol Pump under reserve quota.
