The Rajasthan government also gives reservation to retired defense personnel of Rajasthan in government jobs. Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Service Selection Board recruits government jobs in the state. In Rajasthan, ex-servicemen get 12.5% ??reservation in subordinate and ministerial service posts and 15% reservation in class IV jobs.

Ex-servicemen reservation in government jobs in Maharashtra

The Maharashtra government also gives reservation to the retired soldier from defense in government jobs. Ex-servicemen do not get reservation in class I & II in Maharashtra. In Maharashtra government class III and IV jobs, 15% horizontal reservation is given to ex-servicemen. The Punjab government also gives jobs under reservation to ex-servicemen in the government jobs of the state. In all government jobs in Punjab, ex-servicemen are given jobs under 13% reservation. The same reservation is also given in Punjab Civil Services. Reservation is not given in Punjab Legislative Assembly Secretariat Service and Punjab Superior Judicial Service? Apart from this there is a provision of 13% reservation in all posts.

Ex servicemen reservation in government jobs in Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh government gives maximum opportunities to ex-servicemen for recruitment and resettlement. Provides up to 15% reservation in all technical and non-technical jobs in class I to IV in Himachal Pradesh. In the government jobs of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Ex-Servicemen are given reservation in Class III and Class IV jobs. Reservation of 10% in class III jobs and 5% in class IV jobs is given to retired defense personnel. There is no provision of Ex-serviceman reservation in Class 1 and Class II jobs in Uttar Pradesh.

Ex servicemen reservation in government jobs in Karnataka

The Government of Karnataka is also running a lot of schemes for the employment and welfare of Retired Defense Persons. Odisha government gives 3% reservation to retired defense personnel in government jobs. This 3% reservation is given only in Group C and Group D jobs. Apart from this, relaxation in education qualification is also given to ex-servicemen in Group C posts.

The Delhi government is very active for the employment and resettlement of retired defense personnel and is running many schemes smoothly for the welfare of retired soldiers. In Delhi Police, Retired Defense Person gets 10% reservation in Group C post and 20% in Group D post. In the Union Territory of Chandigarh, Ex-Servicemen are given 10% reservation in Group C government jobs and 20% in Group D jobs.

In Tamil Nadu Ex servicemen get 10% reservation in Group D post. There is a provision of 10% reservation in Forest Guard, 5% in Forest Watcher and 25% in NCC Department. Retired Defense Person in Tamil Nadu gets relaxation up to 53 years (SC, ST and OBC) and up to 48 years of age (General).
