Will get at least Rs 11500 arrears before Diwali?

It is known to all that the central government has announced Diwali bonus and increase in DA for government employees. If you have not seen this news then you can read this news in news section. Now news is coming that Diwali bonus and DA arrears can be credited to the defense person's account before Diwali. In this post, we will talk about which rank defense person will get how much arrears before Diwali.

In this arrears, Diwali Bonus & Dearness Allowance for July, August, September and October will be credited. Dearness allowance has increased by 4% and Diwali bonus will be at least Rs.6905. The calculation of Dearness Allowance and Diwali Bonus is given in the table below. In this table you can find the amount of total arrears you will get based on your basic pay.

The total amount of arrears received is given in the last column of the table which will be credited to defense person bank account. Diwali Bonus is applicable to serving defence personnel only.

This arrear includes 4 months Dearness Allowance and Diwali Bonus. Each defense person will get a minimum of Rs 11500 and a maximum of Rs 19228 depending on the basic pay. The calculation of the officer's arrears is not given in this table.
